Project Overview: The survey is in the hydrogeological investigation of the gold project in Northern Sudan. The survey aims to assess the depth of bedrock, the distribution structure of underground water, and surrounding geological structures to aid in the construction and drilling activities of the Mayas Alluvial Gold Mine.

Project Location: Northern Sudan, with an average annual temperature above 30℃. The hottest season is from April to July, with daytime temperatures generally exceeding 40℃. During the scorching season, temperatures can reach up to 50℃, and surface temperatures can reach a maximum of 70℃.

Advantages of SmartSolo: The SmartSolo IGU-16HR 3C Node, with its modular integrated node design, offers flexible deployment and stable operations in extreme exploration environments from -40℃ to +70℃, making it ideal for use in Northern Sudan where temperatures can reach up to 50℃ during the scorching season. The IGU-16HR 3C Node has a built-in large-capacity battery that can be replaced, ensuring stable seismic data recording in the field for extended periods.

The data collected through the SmartSolo nodes by the crew has been analyzed, and they have successfully completed long-term pumping tests on an aquifer located 100 kilometers away from the alluvial gold mine site. This aquifer will serve as the main source of raw water for the project. The crew is looking forward to a successful desert gold prospecting journey with the reliable data provided by the SmartSolo seismograph nodes!
